Terms & Conditions

These are the current Terms & Conditions applicable in relation to Horizon Planning & Resilience (“we”, “us”, “our”).

Engagement and Booking

A confirmed engagement means a written agreement (including email confirmation) between Horizon Planning & Resilience and the client for the provision of consultancy, training, advisory or support services on agreed dates and within an agreed scope.

Engagements will not be confirmed unless authorised for payment (for example, via a purchase order or written approval).

Once an engagement is confirmed in writing, the organisation commissioning the services becomes liable for the agreed fees, subject to the cancellation terms set out below.

Fees and Payment

Fees are agreed in advance and confirmed in writing.

Invoices are payable within 15 calendar days of the invoice date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Horizon Planning & Resilience reserves the right to amend fees where the scope of work changes or where additional work is requested beyond the original agreement.

Invoices may be issued in advance where required.

Cancellation, Changes and Rescheduling

Horizon Planning & Resilience reserves the right to cancel, postpone or reschedule services where necessary due to unforeseen circumstances. Where this occurs, we will seek to agree an alternative date. Where this is not possible, any fees paid for the affected work will be refunded.

Where a client cancels or postpones a confirmed engagement and no suitable rescheduling is agreed, the following cancellation charges may apply:

  • 14 days or more’ notice – 25% of the agreed fee

  • 7-14 days’ notice – 50% of the agreed fee

  • Less than 7 days’ notice – 100% of the agreed fee

Substitutions or rescheduling may be accepted at our discretion, subject to availability.
